DOA has really really made me excited for Blueprint 3. I'm starting to really just be amazed at how great Jay has remained over his career (Kingdom Come aside).

Kingdom Come: is it actually bad or just dissapointing?
And yeah me to, but honestly, if the Blueprint 3 is anything less than excellent he needs to retire, because he's built up too much buzz for it for it to wind up being a dissapointment, especially at his age.

disappointing. It shouldn't have been the album he came out of "retirement" with. AMERICAN GANGSTER was so good though...

about two weeks ago i was at a pretty casual party and i put on illmatic, because a friend of mine swears by it. everyone else had migrated outside to eat and talk, while i was completely pinned to the stereo until the album ended.

probably the most captivated i've ever been initially hearing an album.

Wow! Finally! Good for you man. I'm not sure, but I THINK I like DOCTOR'S ADVOCATE more. But it's tough. I really think his 3 major label albums are fucking amazing. Seriously. I have a lot of his indie shit too. But those 3 are pretty incredible.
