Yeah, I guess. I don't think alcohol is for me though...
|
you might enjoy wine more than beer (i know i do)
especially w/ a good meal, it's a nice 'warm drunk' also - vodka and orange juice, or vodka and cranberry are great starter drinks. the acidic sweetness of the juices take the kick right out of the liquor to the point where that shit straight sneaks up on ya just future tips. i dont really drink these days wait until you try some weed lol. you might be more of a stoner at heart. or neither. nothing wrong w that |

Starbucks Cold Brew. These little grenades are dope as uxk.

i got this caribou “mahogany” roast that’s not as dark as the usual stuff i drink. does not smell as delicious and made me raise an eyebrow but... it’s got very low acidity so it’s smooth and fruitier and i liked it, at least as pourover.
today it goes into the french press and we’ll see for sure... |
What's the difference between cold brew and iced coffee? i'm literally too much of a juggalo to tell the difference. Also whats with this nitrous brewed crap? I hear that's how they make Guinness smoother? Isn't nitrous shit that makes Vin Diesel go vroom vroom?
send help, i need a real adult |

nitrogen bubbles are smaller than co2 bubbles (soda bubbles) so they form a thick velvety head like guinness (they also kill you when you come out too quickly from a deep dive) nitrogen is a pretty stable gas that’s ~70% of the atmosphere at sea level. it’s not a noble gas and it’s not inert. but it’s pretty stable. so, nitrous (oxide) is the laughing gas the dentist gives you and is also in the whipped cream cold brew is coffee that’s brewed with cold water instead of hot. it’s smoother/less acidic than hot brew but takes a long time. it also has a shelf life, meaning you dont have to drink it in 10 minutes or it sucks. it just sucks by default lolololol. so you have to add cream and sugar and stuff. iced coffee is just how it’s served. which may or may not have been cold brew but it’s served with ice. i dont know what is nitrous brewed.but i put cream in my guinness xD |
Some fusion tea lemonade, Pomegranate/Peach flavor
Without sugar according to the label, but I'm a tad skeptical of that |

ran out of cocchi at last so today’s manhattan was made with noilly prat
i really like noilly prat by itself, but it’s no cocchi manhattan was more than okay. was good actually! but it’s no cocchi manhattan. it’s a duel between cocchi and antica formula for me |
White Russian. For the first time in ages. About ten years ago I used to drink quite a few of them in a flight of teenage Lebowski-enthusiasm.

i had a negroni
ok i had 2 negronis, but it's thursday! i think i'm done with boulevardiers negronis definitely allow for inferior vermouths, especially because the strong juniper in a beefeater cuts through the oversweet of cheaper vermouths. i mean, come on, noilly prat is not in any way "inferior..." but next to cocchi--holy fuck! well i gtg |
![]() Luckily this is caffeine free. Great warm beverage to accompany me on a night reading. G'night yall |
a very wet (2:1) beefeater+noilly prat martini
who the fuck drinks DRY beefeater martinis? bukowski, under a bridge? it’s like drinking muscle rubbing lotion ha ha ha but 2:1 works. and 2 pimento-stuffed olives. for a dryer martini it’s plymouth or gtfo for me. but rn gotta conserve my resources so beefeater it is. looking forward to more plymouth+dolin this spring... mmm-mmmm-mmmmmmm! |
That German hipster-cola that is actually quite tasty, if a bit on the pricey side. Getting my caffeine fix

Haha, I figured someone would find that name funny (I do too). Hell yeah, gin is great, because it's quite versatile. It goes with a lot of things. |

been experimenting with waters with the coffee and teas
turns out soft water is great for sencha, brings out the bright flavors. distilled, too much acidity with a bland follow. dasani, just right. nestlé pure life is actually hard water and ruins it. my tap water, filtered, is very hard water, but i prefer that to distilled. same thing applies to yorkshire gold tea. hard water makes is so fucking tannic. dasani gets it right. but with coffee! coffee is different. my dark espresso roast tastes sour as fuck with soft water. but with hard water—nice and smoky and great! (for my taste anyway) that is great cuz i’d hate to buy bottled water for coffee. ps roasted kukicha also tastes good with hard water. with soft water not bad either, but the woodsy scent extracted with hard water is more interesting. |

I know that one, although it doesn't taste so well to me. I prefer this one a lot more: ![]() |

Fentimans is pretty damn awesome and way different taste-wise. Hard to even compare the two. Fritz is more of a regular Cola with a certain stronger, citrusy edge to it (which I like), whilst Fentimans is entirely its own beast. Really love the Cherry-Cola of theirs as well. Unfortunately, it's even pricier than Fritz. So, something I'll only indulge in every once in a blue moon. |
wow, had to dig deep for this thread
im drinking a leftover cooler, made with some of what was left in my fridge: 6oz vodka, 4oz dry vermouth, 4 oz tart cherry juice, the juice of a lemon, an indeterminate amount of simple syrup in a jar (1tbsp maybe?), dash of peychaud’s bitters, shaken with ice, strained over 2 very tall glasses (22oz), the toped with lime flavored seltzer. pretty great with a side of popcorn |
A sour ale that I got for Father's Day.

Perfectly refrigerated Coke with fresh pieces of lime gently floating in it.

I used to think water was boring and only drank soda/juice. And of course i started getting kidney stones...
Now I love water! I'm finally kicking my soda habit by replacing it with a habit to Arizona jGreen Tea with Ginseng and Honey. Less sugar and caffeine and I prefer them to soda now. I used to crave the carbonation, but after a few weeks without it, I don't at all like the bloated feeling it gives. |
