not in LA until Sunday night. start the drive tomorrow morning.
was told, by someone I hold dear, that I have enriched her life and soul simply by being "me" on days that were beyond hard. I never do things expecting the love to be returned, but she's giving it back to me "x10". she blessed me and said that she hopes that wherever I go, people treat me with the same love that she has for me. I cried for an hour. |
God.
I'm writhing in jealousy (sorry.) I really am. I only feel that way about people (appreciative, in love) very rarely and to people that dont want it. How to say "Good for you" without sounding ingenuine/sarcastic...? |

I met a friend of mine today who stormed out of his house this morning after an almighty row with his wife. He spent the entire day hanging around town, not wanting to go back home. I met him around 5pm. I sympathised with his dilemma and bought him a bite to eat and a pint at a pub I like to frequent. When we parted, he was going to a friend's house. Marriage doesn't suit the poor guy. :( |
i have a big burek,a yirgacheffe espresso and purchased a bartok recording for only $5. this is the south-eastern code of happiness BBB: Big Burek Bartok

I was late for work and feeling super shitty all day. Gallons of coffee helped. Want coke.

Be thankful you're alive.
I think someone just died in a motorcycle accident near my apartment. About an hour ago I heard a motorcycle roaring down the street, then screeching of tires, and a huge WHAM! I heard someone faraway go, "Oh no!" Went down the block and somebody who witnessed it said the motorcyclist went over the center line, hit an oncoming car, and flipped out of his seat and landed on the side of the road. About 10 minutes later, sirens, and finally the paramedics arrive. An hour later they leave without their sirens on. |

Interesting. I tried to vajazzle a friend. We didn't even get to the vajazzling stage. We learned some hard lessons about Brazilian waxing. Apparently being able to properly heat the wax is important, and just letting it sit on a kinda-hot radiator isn't enough.

why? LA partying is overrated. it is a parody of itsef, it used to be a cliche, but now its just a parody of itself, much like mid-90s SNL. plus, if you come here, you will never leave regardless of the circumstances, it doesn't let you. |

I like your penchant for all things European (especially southern/eastern european). I really do. |

what happened to ink????
Cool day as I talked to my niece who I haven't talked to for 7 years. She's married and has a baby boy (3 months old). Made plans for her to attend my ex-wife surprised 50 th birthday party. My son came over and we had lunch together discussed his school plans. Took Dad to the library. Now I'm in here. I checked out Happy Hardcore that Glice posted for ASP sure is nice to hear something new something fresh. Needless to say I'll visit again. |
She only started posted as ink earlier today I think. That post was 12 hours ago!
My day was dull... movie watching, book reading, music listening... the usual shit. My tooth filling is hurting for some reason. |

got a couple of e-mails in. lost some loot for the ride back to the city from my parents. got around to an old e-mail (read: ancient) and went to 5 record stores. good times. nice walk. got a sense of the city from old times, like a pub crawl but no xxx. put some time in at sonic youth site. cool site. got lonely. got some velvet underground lyrics. felt good. sunset. lost some loot at the restaurant. excited about lee in new york magazine. but not too excited.

I don't know how I should spend the rest of today. Go out? Socialize? or stay in (if my shrooms come in) and play Chrono Trigger?
|
my day was completely useless
|
shrooms are fun especially with friends like matt.
useless? between pain and pleasure or beyond? |
Why are the Brian Jonestown albums so expensive on LP?
|
played a bunch of music. installed windows 7. going out for drinks later.
|
stare blankly and ask about volcanoes after you meet up. tell your drinking buddies to meet you somewhere else. could be anywhere. look sharp.
now waiting for drink to cool. night in the meatpacking district brings in all the out of towners. i should live in queens. a quiet night in astoria would be amazing. don't order whiskey straight. have a manhattan (whiskey and vermouth) tomorrow, prepare for moshe. |
So why are the BJM LPs so expensive. Why do they cost so much in other words.
|
no clue.

Today was easily one of the best days that I've had in a while.
I made $100 cleaning out a burnt down house, got a shitload of free video game shit while doing so (dreamcast w/ 2 controllers and a memory card, 2 copies of Super Mario RPG, 1 copy MK3 (snes), and another MK3 ultimate edition (snes), 2 Gamecubes (no cords...but still), got really friendly like with a beautiful girl, finished it off by drinking a case with the fellas and taking fat steamroller rips. |
Assisted in the clean up of a friends field. He gave permission for an illegal rave to be held on it two years ago and he decided today was the day he was going to deal with the mountain of trash left behind by the 800 hippies who turned up for it. He offered me and another friend a couple of cans of Foster's he has stored in a caravan parked on the field if we helped out. The beer turned out to be a year old! He also offered us a packet of peanuts each, but the peanuts went out of date on Oct '09! We helped out for about an hour before we decided this cleanup job should be handled by a biohazard firm, so we made our excuses and promptly left.
