we were at the flea market as is usual on weekends and he went off somewhere unbeknownst to me, so i was browsing, you know, and he had apparently run off somewhere and bought this gorgeous vintage ring and he just comes back and goes "i've got a surprise for you!" and gave it to me

no but i had this weird feeling so i asked him if this was what i thought it was about and he just smiled at me like a little kid so yeah
it was perfect though because i wasn't expecting it, you know...we're not out at dinner or anything, i'm standing there looking at sweaters or something! he's so clever.

it's very pretty, i don't know if it's actually a diamond or not because ive forgotten how to test for that, but it's silver and there's lots of pretty filigree around the edges and whatnot
