I can't believe you even had to ask me that. No self-respecting Merseysider would even dream of liking Chelsea.

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 06:28 PM

I'm from Wirral, and so cling to an outdated sense of belonging to Cheshire.

I like a few of the CHelsea playes, and I think Jose Maurinho's a very likeable fellow. He makes me laugh sometimes.

Danny Himself 11.22.2006 06:31 PM

Chuh-Chuh-Chuh-Cheshire.

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 06:34 PM

That's what we Cheshire folk sing in the evening as we sit around the piano eating cheese.

Danny Himself 11.22.2006 06:35 PM

I could never get my head around you crazy piano-playing cheshire cheese-eaters.

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 06:42 PM

It's a cultural thing.

Australia have won the toss, and have opted to bat first.

Danny Himself 11.22.2006 06:45 PM

I could never get my head around cricket, either.

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 06:52 PM

Now is the perfect time to start.

Danny Himself 11.22.2006 06:55 PM

..Nahhh..

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 06:56 PM

Fair enough.

Danny Himself 11.22.2006 06:59 PM

:]

That's Hip Priest. He always understands.

Danny Himself 11.22.2006 07:02 PM

Anywho, I must retire now, to my warm bed.

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 07:09 PM

Goodnight, Danny. I'm staying up to listen to the cricket.

Don't be ridiculous, who here has an outside life?! NO-FRIKKIN'-ONE, that's who. I just always get carried away reading something or listening to something, or just leave the computer for different parts of the world (house).

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 07:21 PM

That's alright then. I was worried that I was the only one.

k-krack 11.22.2006 07:26 PM

Of course not. Yr never alone, priest.

How's yr day been?

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 07:29 PM

Nice, as always. I bought some cheese, and the cricket has just started, so I'm listening to that and drinking milk.

How about your good self?

k-krack 11.22.2006 07:46 PM

Ahh, not too bad. Going to Toronto "bright" and early tomorrow, so I am very excited for that. It's with some visual art students at school, going to the art museum and a big mall for free-time. (Actually, I have to get up at 5AM, so brightness is not at all in effect then.)

I'm discussing the affects of major labels on indie bands. Ie, major label picking up well-established indie band, or major label picking up some band still playing in their parents basement, etc.

I just finished my coffee, so now I'm going to play some music for a while. Have a nice night, Seb.

Hip Priest 11.22.2006 07:48 PM

I will. The trip sounds good.

Goodnight.

stenson 11.22.2006 09:29 PM

9:25 and there's 11 members? The fuck happened with having 30 members when this board first opened?

Most online action ever was 171 users, 11.01.2006 at 06:21 PM. stenson, CHOUT, finding nobody, k-krack, Moshe, mule, Silent Dan Speaks, SpectralJulianIsNotDead, whatever

Anyway, how is everyone?

k-krack 11.22.2006 09:31 PM

Not too bad, see above post, minus the bit about me leavin' and all. I'm back.
And you?

stenson 11.22.2006 09:37 PM

Sounds fun. Toronto's a pretty nice city, there's a lot of homeless people to kick around. I was only downtown once, and they have the original SAM the record man store, it's pretty big. You should check it out.

I was discussing a similar argument not long ago about the effects of illegal downloadiing and the effects on mainstream artists in comparison to indie bands. I'm against downloading myself, but I do admit it causes the music industry more creative and widespread

finding nobody 11.22.2006 09:38 PM

Im sitting here listenin to Jandek. And, Im bored. Im the chairman of the bored

I'm quite familiar with Sam, lots of stuff there. Have you been to Rotate! This? Quite a lovely little store, I recommend checking it out if you go there sometime. I personally am for downloading. I think it's a super way to get attention to lesser-known bands.

Danny Himself 11.23.2006 11:09 AM

question: has someone of you folks programing skills?

My problem is, i have to write a program which
- converts a text document into a csv sheet
- then imports the csv into a sql database
- the database should be visible via browser (html)

and i have no clue how to do that

Then don't study.
Be a slacker and everyone will think you're cool. It's good fun!
