Nice I like short names like Lea, Mia, Ann, Bee, and now Lux. Be careful with the spending though. My friend's wife went nuts painting and buying all kinds of girl stuff after they told her she was having a girl and on delivery day it was a boy. She was crushed as she already had a boy and really wanted a girl. Of course she loved him anyways as babies have a way of doing that to parents. Thanks for the update as naturally I'm sure I'm not alone in hoping you're doing well.

we're not painting, all the walls in my place are white and i like it that way. i've pretty much gotten all the stuff (save for whatever people are giving me for the baby shower), a really cool rocking chair and lamps and a crib/sheets and stuff, a rug, and i made an origami mobile. we have tons of blankets so it's not an issue. all the stuff is pretty gender neutral, i hate girly crap. it's really colorful and matches the rest of the apartment.

Any chance she could be the first baby of the new year or are you due late January/early February? I tell you the more time I say Lux to myself the more I like the name. Great choice, yours or his?

late january. lux was my idea but we both love it so it stuck.
