yeah,
and the practice space in his house was really nice. Good place to drink a beer or 2, share thoughts or just hang out and we could play as loud as we wanted to.

oh, and he is a nice, but also very strange, person and one of my best friends, so itīs kinda hard to start the new band without him.

A Scanner Darkly
it's the only one i've read. but it's awwwwwesome

k-krack 11.27.2006 06:42 PM

Ahh! I really wanted to see that movie, but I had no money at the time!

Hip Priest 11.27.2006 06:43 PM

Arthur C Clarke: His earlier stuff is best - Rendesvous With Rama is one of the few books I would implore anyone and everyone to read. There's a few sequels, but he gets bogged down with back story and relationships, which he's just not as good at doing, and the core storyline suffers as a result.

The collections of short stories are very worthwhile also.

k-krack 11.27.2006 06:54 PM

I'll keep that in mind for my next trip to the bookstore. It's going to be a while, because I am reading a fairly large book right now... "Sophie's World".

Anyways, I must be off for a while Nice talking to ya, have a nice night an' all that.

Hip Priest 11.27.2006 06:55 PM

That's not a bad book either.

See you soon.

king_buzzo 11.28.2006 04:45 AM

but i can see him become the new poster boy for all the left wingys.

The book is really good, though. Heīs got a great sense of humor and really
knows what heīs talking about.

Danny Himself 11.28.2006 06:38 PM

I feel he is taking advantage of the indigenous people of Mexico. I am part of it through my mom, I just feel he is hiding himself, why the mask?
