i am really really surprised it wasn't wingnuts.

http://english.ahram.org.eg/NewsCont...s-Islam,-.aspx

Boston bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev posted links to Islamic websites and others calling for Chechen independence on what appears to be his page on a Russian language social networking site.
Abusive comments in Russian and English were flooding onto Tsarnaev's page on VK, a Russian-language social media site, on Friday after he was identified as a suspect in the bombing of the Boston marathon.

Police launched a massive manhunt for Tsarnaev, 19, after killing his older brother Tamerlan Tsarnaev in a shootout overnight.

On the site, the younger Tsarnaev identifies himself as a 2011 graduate of Cambridge Rindge and Latin School, a public school in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

It says he went to primary school in Makhachkala, capital of Dagestan, a province in Russia that borders Chechnya, and lists his languages as English, Russian and Chechen.

His "World view" is listed as "Islam" and his "Personal priority" is "career and money".

awesome, i haven't met too many cool strays around here...i think they all get murdered.

so on my way back i was thinking and i thought after the thoughts that i had, that if i sit down and think for few moments, i will figure out why it is that the view of old men makes me more sad than the view of old women. i mean, the view of old women makes me feel things, but the view of old men always makes me sad. actually it all started because i saw an old man with small feet. old men with small feel always makes me sad*.

* edit- im convinced it has to do with my country.

BYTOR -- that's awesome! (about your wife's dad, not the vinyl, lol). sounds like training for the olympics. best wishes! (okay, have fun at the record store too)

Rob Instigator 04.23.2013 09:44 AM

Vinal Edge is the best record store in Houston. The owner Chuck Roast, who had a radio show called the Fun House Show on KTRU, is a great guy and always has tons and tons of records to pick through.

I was just down the way! ha! ROCK.

i ll be off next week on an island and i should be thrilled about it, but i m not so much. it all started because i thought as a solution to try and find a job for the season and i talked with someone who lives there and she suggested i visited there on easter. i m not so optimistic about finding a job there now, but i will go and hopefully smth will happen and i wont just end up spending money by going there, which is the reason i m stressed out by this trip.
i m in a not very nice place lately and the thought about being away from everyone for awhile, is actually comforting.

the only job you need is selling your paintings. find a coffeehouse with bare walls and give them a cut?

or, dammit, make stuff for the tourists. better than working for someone else's profit.

Trama 04.25.2013 08:03 AM

I could go for an island vacation about now.

damn...and thank you! well i have sent them to a gallery that is more like a shop, than exhibition place, but havent heard a word yet.
for coffeehouse/bar, i dont have many paintings yet, but i have an offer from a bar that is owned by some friends..so i guess its a matter of time for smth like this.

YES. do it. get your name/style out there. as for galleries, you need to keep trying because that's how it goes. it's kinda like sending out resumes. but you know maybe the gallery owner sees your paintings at the bar. so yes.

Nefeli 04.25.2013 08:24 AM

and now that i have some decent pics, i should go online with them as well.
i want to feel more ready (more paintings and more decent ones) for this, however.

i had sent you a pm at some point, but your box was full.
dunno how this works, if you get them eventually when you delete pms in later time.

!@#$%! 04.25.2013 09:07 AM

oh noes! will empty my catbox now. i think they are lost forever. :(

but whenever you have the time / energy / inclination

ps- i have also another idea for you related to bars but shhhhh....

pps- and it would be great for island work!

--

pps- catbox is now clean
