I found out yesterday that the brightness on my laptop sucks ass. This is making me change my designing habits.

Went for a ramble with a couple of friends. One of them brought his two Border Collies along. Unfortunately one of them got attacked by a Doberman Pinscher as we strolled past someone's back garden. The friend who owns the Border Collie rushed to its aid by standing between it and the Doberman, telling the Doberman to back off. As all this was going on the owner of the Doberman was yelling at it to come to him. It took a while before it did. My friend was naturally livid over what happened, telling me because the garden borders a popular footpath, the owners should put up a dog proof fence to prevent such an incident from happening. He was all set to confront the Doberman's owner, even resorting to beating the crap out of him if needs be, but luckily he calmed down and thought about contacting the Public Rights of Way team for them to deal with it.

sunday : i like to stay at home doing things with my own rhythm...well in a lazy way.

Try doing that with a Doberman Pinscher bounding towards you at great speed, hellbent on sinking its teeth into your neck!

yesterday was shit, was hot then i biked to the other end of town and a freak fucking storm hit with mad winds and snow etc.

I can't decide which was shittier: the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books or the horse manure when picked up in Long Beach afterward.

Actually, the book festival was pretty awesome for the hour I was there.

I had to do some work, because I didn't do it yesterday like I was supposed to. I did it, then went out and everything looked the same. People are too nasty and bitter to other people because they choke on their own fear and they have no dignity. And then I have anxiety-fear because (I do not know who these people are in the end). I KNOW I CANNOT RELY ON THEM. You cannot rely on anything, but it's always full of surprises; some of them are awful (i know when you're depressed you don't laugh you don't eat much), but I know, ultimately, some of them are good. Most of them are good. In the end, we prevail. With the wrinkles and all, and then we rememeber that it is true that we'll die. (how boring it must be to be dead when you were once alive). I can wear these shoes again. One day they will not be sick. and THEY WILL PAY FOR IT.

I'm about to leave to go to mom's house for second bday party in a row.

if these people think that they can make me eat cake everyday, they're terribly wrong.

I woke up before the late afternoon, weirdly. And, weirdly, managed to have lunch at school in time. Maybe try to do something, or go for a walk.

so far it's been a kind of wait and see kind of day not sure what's coming up but it's probably going to be I guess I really don't know how it's going to be maybe it'll be......

the day is getting better. Just got a call froma friend that owns a local bar/lounge and he asked me to bring some artwork to his place to hang up with other local artist friends of his.

Bought a couple of 15-pack of Foster's because they're selling for £9 each at the mo. I also bought an 8-pack of Bulmer's cider. It was a good day.

Pretty good day. Became a grandfather. Baby and mom doing well.
