That's interesting that you would list Reena in there. I think most of the people in this forum hated that song and that album. |
Jefferson Airplane - You're Only Pretty as You Feel
Big Brother & the Holding Company - Ball & Chain (Cheap Thrills' version) Rolling Stones - Factory Girl & Parachute Woman Pink Floyd - Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun |
speaking of Jefferson Airplane....I would include Plastic Fantastic Lover...NOT the version off Surrealistic Pillow, but the live version off the Worst of Jefferson Airplane...

I loved and love Rather ripped. Play it and rock to it far more than EJST&NS, or NYC Ghosts...or Murray Street

I just love Reena. Almost every Sonic song is perfect to me, but when I heard Reena first time, it took me direct somewhere in the deep emotions!!! It is a total emotional fireworks to me! And I love the whole album, it´s very hard to me understand, why people hates it. And many remember to say about that hate!!! Now it has been quite while that people are not repeat their anger about Rather Ripped or the Eternal and I think that´s good, enough is enough! There is some very important songs I forgot to mention: the Who: I can see for miles Stooges: Penetration Velvet Underground: European Son the Cramps: Garbageman |
And the Birthday Party song is several sins, not seven sins.

That one rocks the hardest! Love it.
My two other faves are "Faith Healer" and "Next." Some of their stuff is too blooze rock for me, but when they're good they're SO GOOD. Inspirational figure to oldsters like me; he started that band when he was 37. |

I have only the Penthouse tapes that is mostly cover songs, but I like a lot the a-side of it! The covers from Del Shannon, Jethro Tull and Alice Cooper are just great and also the two first own songs. B-side is ok, but not as good. |
