This Saturday Elizabeth and I volunteered with a Food Drive being staged at the Episcopal Church of San Mateo. From 7:30 AM to Noon, we packaged massive quantities of food items, and helped distribute them to over 240 families. (BTW, San Mateo/St. Matthew's Spanish Language Services were initiated by my dad, the Rev. Roberto E. Torres de Jesus, back in the very early 80's. The current priest there, Father Montes, remembered me from when I was much much younger...)
