Norma J 12.19.2006 08:21 PM

I only have one of her albums. When I remember what it's called, I'll tell you.

schizophrenicroom 12.19.2006 11:16 PM

finding nobody 12.19.2006 11:32 PM

I'll check those out

I just downloaded and listened to Stories From the City, Stories From the Sea
I didnt like it much to begin with, but as the record went on it got better and better.

Norma J 12.20.2006 12:43 AM

Pj has grown on me within the last year or so. I'm still not a huge fan or in admiration. But she's fun. The album I own is Uh Huh Her.

To Bring You My Love

nicfit 12.20.2006 03:11 AM

To bring you my love is amazing, if you'd like more "rocky-edgy" songs there's Rid Of Me, some electronic her underrated Is This Desire?... actually it's hard to find a BAD P.j. album, i love them all.
p.s. hayden did you get my mails?

I just had my office Christmas lunch:

Tomato and basil soup

Nut Roast
Roast potatoes
Carrots
Peas
Brussell Sprouts
Bread sauce
Cranberry jelly

Christmas pudding
Cream

Very nice, it was.

nicfit 12.20.2006 08:11 AM

You're a lucky man.

sonicl 12.20.2006 08:12 AM

I'm a fat man after all that :D

That is a very decent lunch.

sonicl 12.20.2006 09:03 AM

Oh, hello, Hip :) I wasn't expecting to see you around for a few days.

It was an excellent nut roast. I've had so many that have been too dry, but this was nice and moist.

I have a brand new computer, so I'm back!

Dryness is the test of a nut roast, no question.

sonicl 12.20.2006 09:22 AM

This is what I'll be having on Christmas day:

Nut Loaf(serves 3-4)
A blended loaf of toasted nuts, Madeira-soaked apricots, mushrooms and herbs, topped with a red onion marmalade.

It's from a shop called Cook, which sells hand prepared ready meals (http://www.cookfood.net/). If the quality of their other meals that I've had is anything to go by it should be very nice.

I made a chestnut roast from scratch a few years ago. It took ten hours to peel and skin all the chestnuts, and tasted foul. Excellent consistency though!

Danny Himself 12.20.2006 09:24 AM

Ahh Thurston is like the slowest ebayer everrrr. He still hasn't sent me the full pay amount.

Anyways, I was lucky enough to find a Cat Power single yesterday in Probe Records. They also have a simpsons album with SY on it. And some SMOG vinyl, lots of SY. I found some Public Enemy too.

Hip Priest 12.20.2006 09:26 AM

Chestnuts are not one of the more pleasant foodstuffs, that is for sure!

schizophrenicroom 12.20.2006 08:07 PM

my little brother was singing at this big dinner with the boys and girls club tonight. all of the clubs from around the county studied a different country (sean's club was switzerland) and performed a little skit or dance. it was so adorable.

Hip Priest 12.20.2006 08:08 PM

Hello Jade.

That sounds nice.

k-krack 12.20.2006 08:14 PM

Howdy, y'all.

Hip Priest 12.20.2006 08:16 PM

Hello Steve.

Hey hey hey. Nut Roast is nice. My girlfriend makes it without the cheese and egg for us though.

You're the first person I've basically ever seen mention it.

Edited: HAHa. We have Lentil Bake. Same kinda thing though. Substitute for a dead animal.

k-krack 12.20.2006 08:19 PM

How is everyone? Also, what is Nut Roast?

Inhuman 12.20.2006 08:25 PM

sup steve and hip! Sounds yummy unless it's not meaning "testicle roast" by "nut roast".

k-krack 12.20.2006 08:27 PM

Not too much Rob. If any of you's caught my thread a little earlier, I'm a bit better now, so that's good.
Yrself?

So wait, yr saying "testicle roast" would be good?

Man, it would probably be delicious. It would probably be like steak, except it comes marinated in sauce straight out of the package!

Glad you're better steve! That would be harsh I'd imagine; I never got to experience it because my parents get along well despite the fact I think they're immoral

Norma J 12.20.2006 08:33 PM

Don't the Irish love their sheep balls? Or is it just a general all 'round English thing? I know Porkmarras likes his balls, but that's taking it to a new level.

Norma J 12.20.2006 08:36 PM

Nut Roast, k-krack is what sonicl posted a few posts ago. I'm not exactly sure what it is. We have lentil-bake. Which is delicious.

Tell me you pair of the coolest on this Sonic board like the Bronx? They kick the pants of most, if not all bands. This is true.

hhahahaha! Oooh, you! Yr getting a lump of coal for x-mas, young man!

k-krack 12.20.2006 08:37 PM

I like (a lot) what I've heard from the Bronx. I've only heard the songs on their myspace, though. Should I pick up thew new album, it's relatively cheap?

Norma J 12.20.2006 08:42 PM

Definitely pick it up. If it's cheap than that's great. It's definitely up their for album of the year. The songs they have up on their myspace aren't even highlights of the album, in my opinion. So if you like them songs alot, you'll most definitely love the album.

Check out Joby and Matts other band that are similar but more early Punk.
www.myspace.com/thedrips

Teenage Sex Camp is one of the coolest songs ever.

k-krack 12.20.2006 08:43 PM

By the way, how'd you like those bands I PM'd you?

samuel 12.20.2006 08:45 PM
