Check out Joby and Matts other band that are similar but more early Punk.

Teenage Sex Camp is one of the coolest songs ever.

Nice, I really like it. I find there's a close resemblance between his voice and Dennis Lyxzen's from Refused, but also mixed with an older hardcore style to it

Yep, I did. I liked most of them, and I will say which those were in a little bit. Right now we have company, and I don't want to be disrepectful and listen to music hahaa.

Statues doesn't have any music? Wierd, man.

Norma J 12.20.2006 09:07 PM

Hey, guys. Download this song from a local band (who just splitthis year) who are hardcore. They're pretty cool. Good live too. I remember being pretty blown away when first seeing them.

www.conation.com.au download Anti-Jock revolution (I know it's easier to go to mysapce and listen to songs, but this song isn't on their myspace and it'sa fucking cool).

www.myspace.com/conation Slow Motion Catastrophies is cool.

k-krack 12.20.2006 09:14 PM

Oh, jeeze! I totally left out some of the awesome local hardcore.

Statues is now playing. Didn't come up with songs the other week.

Not bad, but I'm not overally into poppier punk. I think Varge are fairly cool though. I'ma listen to the others when I get some time.

k-krack 12.20.2006 09:27 PM

Alright. I love Statues, their new album is fantastic. Very, as you say, poppier-punk. To each his own. In case I didn't say or you didn't notice, two members of Varge!, who are brothers, are also in Statues. (And another band, the Havocs).

The Doers are great, the song Just Sayin' is one of my favourite songs of the year.

schizophrenicroom 12.20.2006 09:29 PM

sebastian- it really was! all of the clubs from around the county had little skits/songs related to their country, and there was a ton of food.

norma- i like that conation song.

k-krack 12.20.2006 09:46 PM

Norma, The Drips remind me of Statues, the Buzzcocks, etc.
I like.

schizophrenicroom 12.20.2006 09:59 PM

i think i've lost a library book, and i'm at the month-overdue point now. damnit.

k-krack 12.20.2006 09:59 PM

I really like Conation's Anthemic Lies.

Schoolgirl's hair turns green

A schoolgirl's blonde hair turned bright green after she went for a swim.

Seven-year-old Paige Williams hair changed colour after swimming with her school at a leisure centre in Morrison, near Swansea, reports the Mirror.

Paige only discovered what had happened after lifting her orange rubber swimming cap.

Now cruel classmates are calling her Hulk's Daughter after the TV character.

Her family say they have tried everything to get the colour out but nothing has worked so far.

Now they fear she will still be green for Christmas.

Her mum Lucy Williams, aged 24, of Tirpenry, Morriston, said "She has been going to school with vinegar and, lemons in her hair to try to bleach it out."

A Swansea Council spokesman said Paige had been wearing her hair in a bobble under her cap which might have been responsible.

He said the chemical levels in the pool had been normal and added: "Staff have been closely monitoring the pool since the matter was noted and no further incidents of this nature have been reported."

Inhuman 12.21.2006 01:37 PM

Why don't they just dye it back? Or dye it half red so she'll look really christmasy

Trasher02 12.21.2006 01:44 PM

Green hair rocks what is she complaining about?

king_buzzo 12.21.2006 01:45 PM

king_buzzo 12.21.2006 02:36 PM

Hip Priest 12.21.2006 02:37 PM

Actually, it's not snowing here either, which is a shame.

king_buzzo 12.21.2006 02:38 PM

yeah but it might snow there, holland has 0% possibility of having any snow

Hip Priest 12.21.2006 02:41 PM

I don't know; it's been very warm for the time of year, with just the odd snap of cold.

Trasher02 12.21.2006 02:44 PM

I'm having a rather interesting conversation with dear mr. hairy beaver ni'k.

You lucky thing. The snow is great.

We've had a lot of fog in England; it was very thick here on Tuesday (football matches cancelled etc) and its n various parts of the country. Lots of flights seem to have been cancelled.

touch me i'm sick 12.21.2006 04:32 PM

i hope my flight isn't cancelled...

k-krack 12.21.2006 04:35 PM

Awesome, I envy you... I wish I had some damn snow...

touch me i'm sick 12.21.2006 04:37 PM

yeah in DC it probably won't ever snow again, the other day it was like 70 degrees... completely insane
