no, le passé simple or prétérite. it works the same but it's used only in literature, historical chronicles. etc.

for example:

"courtney eut une belle figure" (that's for avoir)

etc.

The impression i got was that if she likes you she LOVES you. If she finds something about you interesting or cool she'll TELL you and go on and on about it. She's just very.. BIG.

AAAAAAAhhh I would have liked to meet her during those years. When she was 100% sober, or at least looked like it.

Courtney Love is hugely talented AND a drug addict with boobs. I think she's reasonably intelligent though. I really liked the interview when she flashed David Letterman. I think she was funny as hell (and clever).
