The latest rumour is that the DUP want Farage in on the Brexit negotiators, as one of their conditions of coalition.

Doesn't make sense to me, given the DUP's supposed insistence on as soft a Brexit as possible.

It's less about wanting a hard-Brexit than believing that the EU won't give us a soft-Brexit even if we try to negotiate one. It isn't in its interests to make any kind of transgression seem beneficial to the transgressor, for fear that others will follow. IMO, the EU can punish us less if we just walk away.
