At the moment, I'd say Blood on the Tracks, but my favorite Dylan album changes all the time.

And idiot wind is a hard song to beat.

It's between Bringing It All Back Home, Highway 61 Revisited, and Blonde on Blonde.
Bringin' has the best songs and classic flow. Hwy has the best tones, the rock, and the jams. B on B has enigmatic variety and it's a double.

Which to choose?

I suppose I'll have to stick with Bringing It All Back Home.

John Wesley Harding

Not my fave but it's the one I can imagine myself listening to on repeat without ever getting annoyed (probably because of its mellow side).

demonrail666 05.28.2007 06:49 PM

Blonde on Blonde, but only because it's longer than Highway 61 Revisited - oh, and because it has Sad Eyed Lady on it, of course.

Savage Clone 05.28.2007 07:54 PM

I'd like a 45 specially made with Masters Of War on one side and Hollis Brown on the other, as these are the only two Dylan songs I really like.

gmku 05.28.2007 08:20 PM

Blonde on Blonde, mono version

Old thread but my post on page 1 still counts.

Poor Immigrant 01.25.2008 03:15 AM

I'd say Blonde on Blonde Or. Maybe Nashville Skyline. Because I loves me some country pie!

jonathan 01.25.2008 04:05 AM

Highway 61 for sure. One of my favorite records ever.

sarramkrop 01.25.2008 01:46 PM

It would take someone to point a gun to my head to make me listen to a whole Dylan album.

gmku 01.25.2008 01:47 PM

Blonde on Blonde (the mono mix Sundazed LP reissue)
