Oh yeah, I forgot to mention: Ipods are much better.

I use the iPod shuffle 1GB and it's more than enough. Even for a 3-4 week vacation. 240 tracks (12 cd's).
What's the purpose of having your whole cd collection on an iPod? I only use it when I go out jogging or whatever. Never at home.
To answer your question, I'd go for an iPod.

Yeah really. If you're running windows, Creative Zen is the way to go. For a cheaper price than an ipod video, the zen has 4 times the amount of color in videos, and are much more compatible than ipods.
