I consider Nebraska the only Springsteen LP worth listening to. And I used to be a big fan and still own most of his 70s catalog.

I really like Vega's stuff that he did with the guys from Pan Sonic.
As for Suicide - Legends! It was my home town of Crawley where Alan got his nose busted when they supported the Clash at the Sportcentre. That was a pretty scary night. Fuck! Was it really 30 years ago?!! |
Suicide/Coil = The ying yang of cool duo's.
|
I absolutely love Suicide!

I only wish to be as cool as Martin Rev and Alan Vega are now, if I get to that age. Mick Jagger or Keith ''fucking'' Richards of twattish behaviour fame can only lean over to kiss their smooth, yet abrasive arses. |

Martin Rev solo can afford himself the luxury of referencing his work with Suicide, write a gem of a song like ''Secret Teardrops'' and still come out like the coolest geezer ever. I mean, how many people have songs as awesome as ''In My Arms''? Not that many.

shit, they're cooler than all the stones put together.
|
