Well said. It's sad but true that most people are like this. This takes us to....

Reading is sexy.

People don't talk to me because I'm not good looking. It's my little way of being a non-conformist :D

reading is not sexy. being sexy is sexy. i suppose being sexy while reading can be sexy, but reading alone is not sexy.

you need to get out more man. something.

I do, I was just making a point, that vain people only talk to good looking people. Also my experience in L.A. the overwhelming number of shallow people over smart ones is astonishing. I usually like people who can carry a conversation, not because they are good looking.

Norma J 09.19.2007 12:37 AM

I take people for what they are and I trust my gut feeling, whether they're good looking or conversationalists, whatever.

SynthethicalY 09.19.2007 12:40 AM

That's how I am usually, except when there is lust.

pbradley 09.19.2007 12:41 AM

Since we're on LA...

I'd rather associate myself with neither.

I don't spend alot of time on the internet, I'm a daily user, but it does not affect my daily life, at all.

And of course I'm talking about in person. On here we're just words.

I've gotten gorgeous before.

sonicl 09.19.2007 03:24 AM

I'm so damn handsome that people are too intimidated to talk to me.

:D

sarramkrop 09.19.2007 03:52 AM

People who do that exist for sure, but they generally turn out to be complete bores, together with the person who likes their ego to be caressed for all the wrong reasons.

jon boy 09.19.2007 04:32 AM

i have met people who did not want to talk to me because they thought i was not beautiful enough. they where the mosy shallow boring people i ever met.

Well well, you should really open up your scope and start broadening the horizons if you really want to find out the difference between nice looking, attractive and sexy. Perhaps you are getting them wrong, but in my (not so) humble experience, I've found more often than not that a guy who is not conventionally nice looking tends to have more charisma and attractiveness than someone who at first sight I might have thought was gorgeous. For me being attractive is something that has to do with someone's brains and general moral attire, but in saying that, a number of human beings are born ugly both on the inside and the outside. I would certainly never find someone attractive that was stupid or too vain, regardless of what they might look like. I like it when people take care of their bodies, but there is an invisible line that you risk crossing and you become an imbecile quicker than you can say 'Look at me!'.

being pretty rules. i checked my horrorscope the other day and it said "virgo: very pretty." of course, it said other things, but that one made me laugh a little bit.

I've been told I come across as "standoffish" in public, but now I know that apparently I'm just a hideous troll.
Thanks a lot, you fuckers.

You know better than to believe that.

Savage Clone 09.19.2007 10:18 AM

What's that?
I'm sorry; I can barely read the board through these bitter tears.
