Serves me right for opening my mouth.

Everyneurotic 02.17.2008 12:42 AM

syntax-free 02.21.2008 08:26 PM

It's more or less considered a "Noise" festival as most of the bands tend to fit under that classification.

ah okay. so thurston won't be performing anything from his album or yes?

drrrtyboots 02.21.2008 09:23 PM

Definitely not, he'll probably do a collaboration with someone and be playing some squelin' geetar as he has so often done at the past No Fun Fests.

syntax-free 02.21.2008 09:33 PM

would you recommend it? cuz i might go, just for friday.

Everyneurotic 02.21.2008 11:05 PM

i wouldn't go if i didn't like harsh noise or abstract drone.

Rob Instigator 02.22.2008 10:01 AM

"You guys smell REALLY REALLY bad!"

"You haven't played all your big HITS YET!"

personal highlights from the no fun fest DVD

Georgekrz 02.23.2008 11:31 AM

I definitely recommend it. All three nights.

Moshe 03.14.2008 04:12 PM

Sinlge Day Tickets for No Fun Fest are available now:
http://nofunfest.com/2008.html

they will also be available at the knitting factory box office
starting tomorrow if you want to avoid paying the ticketweb charge.

Also there is only a handful of 3 day passes left. we recommend
getting them in the next week if you are planning to come all 3 days.

we are only 2 months away!!!!!

Additionally Thurston Moore, with some input from us, will be curating
an art show at KS ART ( which is right in front of the knitting
factory). That will highlight some of the visual artist's closely
related to No Fun Fest. More info on this forthcoming.

No Fun Productions:

we have 4 really amazing releases almost ready to go, we expect to
have them on our website within 2 weeks. and we will let you know
trough this list first as usual.

And lots more after that.

Everyneurotic 03.14.2008 06:50 PM
