Yes!
Estradasphere rule also.. check out their side project DON SALSA.. and FISHTANK ENSEMBLE... That class sounds amazing. Sorry if the chiefs didn't sit with you right at the time, Bradley. I've said this elsewhere, but I've also kinda distanced myself from Patton. His projects are only as good as the people he's working with. His record label is actually great though it releases some SHIT (Pink Anvil anyone?)... |

Haha. I LOVE screeching weasel. I may have said this somewhere else on here, but I own actual copies of.. most.. of their records. |
secret chiefs 3 are horrendous
|
hahahahahha.
Yeah, if the definition of "horrendous" is people who write amazing, challenging, engaging, complex, soulful, creative music, they are at the top of the list. Ridiculously amazing band. |

Tons of secret chiefs 3 show plus mp3's for other amazing bands like farmers market and dengue fever. Avoid peeping tom of course. |
new album soon y'all
|
These guys are just amazing live.
The rhythm section of Ches Smith and Shahzad Ismaily is fucking unbeatable! So much so that Marc Ribot formed a band with them. It's just a shame that Eyvind Kang isn't playing live much anymore. Anyways, it's my opinion that the 7"s they released a few years ago are the best things they've put out. The songs/production is just top notch. |
Also, I have to reply to a rather strange comment that someone posted in the 'Disco Volante' classic albums thread (Disco Volante being one of the best albums in the past 15 years).
Some oddity actually claimed that Danny Heifetz was a crap drummer. Wha?! I just don't know where to start with that. |
I predict a riot! I predict a riot..
