scattered boos?! wtf.

there was a suprisingly large group of old people scattered among the crowds that had to make me do a double take and think "you like lou reed?" In fact several people left during lou reed's show.

Not that surprising. When I saw Sonic Youth open for Neil Young many years ago, the boos weren't so scattered. Keep in mind that a good 50% of any Lou Reed crowd is hoping and praying he'll play "Walk on the Wild Side".

yeah, Dazedcola, could you please upload the Lou Reed show. I was there, 4th row and let me tell you it was amazing. Lou AND Thurston played great. i do recall scattered boos for him but like you guys said, half the crowd were unfamiliar with any lou song but walk on the wild side. I remember leaving the show and infront of me was a guy saying.. "how did he not play walk on the wild side or im waiting for my man". They both put on a great show though, and i would really appreciate if someone could upload it. thanks!
