The Flaming Lips' cover of What a Wonderful World always puts me in a good mood.

Yo La Tengo's You Can Have It All cheered me up today.

And I had a mostly shit day which would have been utterly intolerable without it.

sarramkrop 06.13.2008 05:37 AM

Yo La Tengo's music makes me feel deflated, rather than uplifted.

pbradley 06.13.2008 06:04 AM

Well I guess there could be different definitions to "uplifted." I was traveling all over the city today for a very unworthy reason and getting fed up with the drivers, parking, waiting forever for buses but the song helped to relax me (deflate for the less inclined?) and put a smile on my face.
