Am I the only one the thinks that insane discographies are an indictment of consumer culture?

It is almost like the musician artist is telling us NOT to buy.

a band like sonic youth with a nearly 30 year existence is gonna have a long extended interesting discography and well deserved.

I hate when a band that has been around 2 years releases every bit of fart they record as if it were worthy
