I'm sure you guys are tired of me mentioning Tripping Daisy in ever other post, but I always thought Jesus Hits Like the Atom Bomb was a great album title.

I agree about "Clouds Taste Metallic" by the Flaming Lips. Another personal favorite is "And then nothing turned itself inside-out" by Yo La Tengo. And "Sometimes good weather follows bad people" by Califone.

That's immediately what came to mind for me too. Nevermind was rather the perfect name for an album that had the whole world taking notice to a music scene that had been essentially underground up until that point. Never Mind the Bollocks... Here's the Sex Pistols was rather the same phenomena with more words. Escape from Noise by Negativland Telegraph Melts by Jandek Confusion is Sex by Sonic Youth My People Were Fair And Had Sky In Their Hair...But Now They're Content To Wear Stars On Their Brows by Tyranosaurus Rex Give 'Em Enough Rope by the Clash |
Glenn Branca - "radioactive poltergeist kitchen"
Swans - "mother, my body disgusts me" or Diskaholics Anonymous - "weapons of ass destruction" |
Quote:
A big hairy HELL YES for the Tyranosaurus Rex album |
"There Is Nothing Left To Lose" by Foo Fighters - because after such a shit of an album (probably one of the worst ever imo), there was truely nothing left to lose

god fodder.
