Well, we had 5,000 but our old account got hacked, so we added a bunch of people from that account and then requested that they advertise us on bulletins so people would add to us to get us back up to where we were. Everyone was really helpful and understanding.. it's been a lot of work to get things back in order but we slowly are.

But, the old account was around for 2 years and we advertised a lot and have a lot of releases out...

oh yes that makes sense. I was just asking because: 2 month old site, 5000 visitors and over 4000 friends looked a lil bit extreme

I wonder why someone hacks a drone-music site

atsonicpark 10.24.2008 03:26 PM

No idea. They logged into it once after hacking it, on September 11th no less...

al shabbray 10.24.2008 03:30 PM

hahaha, and then they ve changed your password?
or what was the reason for creating a new account?

atsonicpark 10.24.2008 03:42 PM

We think it's someone we know in real life....

There's just no way to log in to the site, we've emailed myspace a shit-ton of times.. we dealt with it for a few weeks and then we just like fuck it.. here's the old page... www.myspace.com/robedot

Funnily enough, they added our new page the day they logged in, because we added them just in case, and we left them a comment for people to come to our new page, haha..

al shabbray 10.24.2008 03:45 PM

yes, thats how its gotta be guerilla style hrhrhr

batreleaser 10.24.2008 05:54 PM

have you heard his album happy days? i think you'd really like it

atsonicpark 11.20.2008 10:01 AM

Happy Days is cool, that one was on fahey's label. My O'Rourke album of choice is Bad Timing.

I've listened to the entirety of Long Night 3 times.. once was while tripping on acid. Great album.

greedrex 11.20.2008 10:28 AM

^^^tripping on acid.
What can you do while "tripping on acid"?
I mean can you cook, watch a film, talk at all. Do you know what your're doing or would you just lie down on the floor, dribbling? I've never done acid. i don't have a clue.

atsonicpark 11.20.2008 11:06 AM

I dunno, it's different for different people. I laugh a lot at first, but after a while it gets amazing. I can do anything, though I'd rather just lay and listen to music.

I agree with you (dunno bout the acid)
but the record is pretty good and worth listening too, especially the second disc
