To start a band

Yeah, it's just the buying of the hoodie thats the problem! I need to go with a girl and pretend she's buying it. Oh also in my disappointment I spend most of money on an evel knievel type leather jacket that I am never going to wear, just carry around over my shoulder looking bad ass.

To digitise my tape collection. Been going through the vaults this evening and there's some stuff there that really shouldn't be lost just because the tapes sit on the same side of the room as the ole' box o' crap that I have to keep but never look at.

Men buy women's clothing all the time as gifts for wives, girlfriends, sisters, moms, etc. You shouldn't feel embarassed at all about buying it. Now trying it on before you buy it would be a problem, though.

7 years of my 'best of the Peel show'. Countless live sessions. Odds and sods of my 'early' work (which is mostly rubbish). Loads of whole Peel shows. Radio junk, basically. Means a lot to me, but probably would mean fuck all to anyone else, especially in these internet days.

mmm i went through this a long time ago for my early work also and i still got it all on CD + lossless mp3.
The cdrs are 7/8 years old though so they tend to deteriorate without even playing them. But digital means i can just listen to any song...and i cleanned the files also. It's all good and fun to go through but you need huh time....

and i need to quit being stuck, musically... i almost feel like i am completely out of my creative pool... its like my feet are still wet, but the tide has since gone out, whereas i used to be up to my waste in it... and its very frustrating because i know more now, and am a better musician, but i felt way more creative years ago when i sucked... or did i? ughh, i've got more gear now and everything, and i listen to better music than i did then, or at least, i think i am more inspired by the music i listen to now

I need a nice one for winter and I'm afraid they won't carry it much longer.

I want to stop worrying about shit and to stop being depressed. Sorry I guess that's more of a need, eh?... but yeah, uh, I guess I'll never be satisfied.

A quality amplifier. Right now all I have is a 10 watt beginner's amp, but someone listened to my recordings and said I had a unique sound, which I should use to my advantage.

A mandolin, which I'll be getting for Christmas.
