the last I watched is Hostel.
Not as good as I was expecting (except the hot girls...) |
both hostels are awful. amongst the worst.

Man, I remember that part. That seriously was some scary, although pointless, shit. |
Pointless? That was one of the most important parts of the movie...
|
Audition - it'll touch a nerve with anyone that's ever been on a blind date.

completely disagree with you, friend. |

I agree with you here, though. And I think that scene is probably one of the scariest things I've ever seen in a film. I mean I quite literally jumped out of my seat the first time I saw that. |
I generally avoid disturbing movies.
I've read something about the two movies Adam stated (Visions of Suffering and Begotten) and I honestly never ever want to watch that shit. Why would one want to watch something that'd cause him/her a trauma anyway? I have enough of my own nightmares, thank you. |
they're beautiful films though...
|
scary movies still really scare me. maybe it's because i've grown up without any tv around, or because i easily get scared in general (as in the shock effect, or feeling uneasy)
i remember not wanting to watch sleeping beauty because there was a dragon in it. |
THE STRANGERS comes out on DVD tomorrow. Looks really frightening.

erm...Adam, I remeber reading about two movies that might strike your interest, both truly fucked up. One of them was called Necromancer (you might guess what this one could be about) and the other one had a neat name I Piss on Your Grave. |
Quote:
god yes i forgot about that, or rather i tried to block it out. thankks for reminding me now i have to go change my sheets. |
Necromancer? Any relation to Necromantic?
I've heard of I'LL PISS ON YOUR GRAVE but have never been able to find it!! |

Sorry dude, it's called Nekromantik. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093608/ |
Oh, I've seen Necromantik 1 and 2. And that dude's other film DER TODESKING, which actually is genuinely scary.
Sorry, Nekromantik. |
well surely David Lynch flicks scare the crap out of me too.
George A. Romero's DAWN OF THE DEAD and DAY OF THE DEAD, for their social commentary. John Carpenter's PRINCE OF DARKNESS and THE THING. David Cronenberg's THE DEAD ZONE and VIDEODROME. ...there's one specific movie I just saw one time that I never want to see again if possible which is REQUIEM FOR A DREAM, that really makes me feel uneasy. |
Haha. Requiem for a Dream is such a shitty movie. I think that's the only film where I hate EVERY SINGLE actor in it. The directing is also terrible.

somewhere there you probably forgot to add "being buried alive". |
