it is always entertaining to see a couple with the exact same hair cut, only parted in opposite directions, to form one super cool hair cut.... and the symmetrically balanced piercings make a nice touch.

A post of infinite wisdom. Negates this entire thread.

You tell 'em, Gooey.

Is enjoying fashion so bad?
The carefully disheveled look of many people at the cool shows is every bit as much a fashion statement, and has every bit as many implied codes.

Inhuman 06.07.2006 06:30 PM

haha, thanks everyone!

i can't relate to trends and fashions and whatever, you should definitely go with what you feel like and screw people who don't accept you that way.

now don't screw it up and start dressing like hipster know-it-alls in ironic t-shirts and brown blazers, ok?

I actually knew somebody was bound to say this, but naw, I was at work all day yesterday and didn't have time to get beaten up. At least now I can sell all my old clothing off ebay and buy records with the money I make off it :). I have yet to hear all of Bad Moon Rising, so I look forward to getting it

Good Job buddy!

Toilet & Bowels 06.07.2006 08:38 PM

werd to savage clone. if clothes are so unimportant to you why are you critiquing the styles of others? wear what you think looks good, not some faux "i'm too profound to be troubled with looking my best crap".

HaydenAsche 06.07.2006 11:32 PM

I live in Minnesota. Wanna fight about it?

This does seriously piss me off. I'm not a scenester. Stereotyping is usually right but this is so far-off. You are all complete idiots with the exception of truncy and Mr. Clone.

krastian 06.07.2006 11:50 PM

^Thanks dude.

HaydenAsche 06.07.2006 11:52 PM

Don't worry. You weren't included. I just hate people trying to tell other people they are something based on what they wear. Completely stupid.

krastian 06.07.2006 11:55 PM

Yeah I was just kiddin'.....I hear ya.

Everyneurotic 06.07.2006 11:58 PM

actually, fashion and clothing kick ass!!!! especially when many people try to look the same.

i mean, that's why we stare, point and laugh. that's fun.

also, half the fun about going to shows is the audience and judging them on how they look.

This is completely inadequite. I don't agree with the whole method of advertising bands in the way that the media does. It's primarily based on what teens can relate to and who has good connections. I never take popularity into consideration when judging a music artist or band. I haven't been watching TV or listening to the radio in years.

Certainly not. That's disgusting.
Dead on, and not to mention the bleeding heart "taped" to it

So good to hear that that pic is not you...
its rather funny yet pathetic how fashion/clothing company's influence the young minds of america by infusing what is "hip" into their minds bending their eyes and ears into this pigeonholed look of nonsense... fashion is certainly not bad but it gets too carried away with "trends" such that people use their sense of identity.
