Really? I never thought the S/T record was special at all, definitley a lot of potential there, but they were still trying to break free from the restrictive post hardcore thing. I can never decide what I like more, "Yank Crime" or "Suicide Invoice". Since I heard the Hot Snakes I definitley listen to them just as much as jehu.

#1. keep doing it. #2. keep calling it "classic albums." The thing is, these albums are classic TO YOU. They are important to yr musical background/vocabulary/environment. When I do the NR Essentials, they're obviously albums I recommend for one reason or another, but the thing is, they're essential TO MY COLLECTION. And hopefully some of the others boarders will discover something awesome in the process of mentioning WHY it's essential to ME. |

s/t is amazing, it has their best songs on it ("if it kills you" and "step on chameleon").
This one's a better album though, if that makes sense. |
totally agre adam. the first is a good album with some amazing songs but yank crime... its the bomb as they say in some crappy american tv shows.....
