this does it more justice. but the audio is bad.

it has a better range of eq than a ds1.

I've got a digitech RP-80 and it's OK.
The distortion/overdrive on it is HORRIBLE though, completely dull.

I have a shoddy DOD preamp/multieffect, it works best as a headphones amplifier.

That's basically what I use mine for. Or as a pre-amp for going into the computer.

I got this thing for 50 bucks brand new, I like it a lot. With multieffects pedals simpler is better, the more crap it has in sync, the more it mutes the signal.. so generally, no don't use em, unless you are using basic versions..

those thousand dollar monster multieffects pedal boards sound like shit, whatever brand you fuck with.

Get one for around the house, and rehearsing.

I have that too SuchFriends, it works well enough for me. I usually use it with other pedals too.

Yeah, I bought one of these when I was first starting out. It's alright for fucking around. I think the higher end RP models are a bit better. I'd never use it for recording/live, though. Yr much better off building yr single effect pedal collection little by little.

I agree, but I sort of like it because it can fill in where I want a pedal until I actually get one. It's not as good of course, but still.

I have a DigiTech RP500 and it works fine for me.

Look, I got and OLD, really old multi effect, a Korg Tonework AX30G and a super distortion, and recently I got some pedals like a chorus, digital delay and wah wah. I can create some really good atmospheres, but now I wanna get the moogerfooger ring modulator and the Electro harmonix Microsynth.
