i will say that aside from a few deftones songs i never liked nu metal and i'm from florida. i guess i was WAY into hardcore punk and post punk when i was younger to care. i had some friends that went from loving korn one year to being a straight edge hardcore kid that hated korn the next. it never bothered me. people's taste change all the time.

I got into noise and nu-metal at the same time. I can find something to appreciate in all genres of music. I was listening to Merzbow, Melt Banana, Perfume (Japanese pop music), Atari Teenage Riot, the Locust, and Limp Bizkit at the same time. Never mattered to me.
