I can't not be nepotistic about this, you're right, but that by no means invalidates my mate's music. As I said, I know too many people in bands and they're not all getting threads. I know quite a few people who I get on with very well and secretly think their music is shit. The tone of that post makes it seem like my liking one mate's music invalidates my taste entirely, which is clearly bollocks.
