I love em, but I'm glad they didn't put out a crap album with "Pixies" stamped on it. Going out on top, as the pixies did, is the way to go.
It's been too long anyway...it'd be a lose-lose. It would either be stale and rehashed or so far from where they left off it would be "non-Pixies-sounding".
So it's sad AND good news.

I just wish they would tour again. I never saw them. :(

i really dont want them to do another album... just leave it bee... in fact i was disappointed with them when they did the 2nd batch of shows. one reunion tour, ok, thats cool, but then to become a kinda parody of themselves in a cabaret way..... sorry but no..

i saw them the first time around in 91 and thats the pixies that i want to remember....
