hoarfrost also beats up on wish fulfillment. i have a live lee show from 1996 in hartford, ct where he does a stunning solo version of WF that makes the dirty one seem even more egregiously wrong. i have always been a fan of Dirty...the newfound poppy sheen-n-gloss SY played with for that album fit most of the songs very well. but not with WF; that one needed less studio trapping to be most effective, and the few live renditions lee has done that are out there prove it.

I love Genetic too. But if it brings up bad vibes I can understand that. Sort of like Tori Amos did not do songs from 'Y Kant Tori Read' for many, many years.
