three of my classes today involved watching 9/11 videos. one was about digging through the aftermath and was especially depressing.

Thousands and thousands of people die a day. If this happened to a group of people that weren't middle class American then it wouldn't almost be this much of a big deal.

It still was a sad event though, I'm not denying that.

Word. What about the thousands a year who die from cigarette-related cancer? Who's going after the tobacco companies anymore? Anybody? I don't see a war against tobacco growers.

What about the thousands of people in third world countries who die A DAY?

further America already has an extensive history of abusing its own population. if it can happen with american guns and money and troops in places like Colombia and Iraq, why not here? I've always viewed 9/11, tragic as it was, as karma of sorts for our country's sins.
