I think the CURRENT state of the board is that for a while it was really sucking. A lot of people stopped posting regularly. And as swa(y) pointed out, it got supersexual. And boring. And I feel like for a while a lot of us were annoyed with others. But I feel like we've all become conscious of a this stuff, and the board is slowly coming around again. Maybe.

if this board was a country is would be britain, people complain about the problems but nothing really changes they just get a little bit worse than they were before and people forget about the old problem because there's a new one, and then a lot of the best people fuck off to live somewhere else.

Not many people on here strike like they have any real interest about discussing a wide range of music anymore. It's become too me, me, me, unfortunately. Very sad for a forum of a band that always took an interest in a wide range of music, old and new. I kind of agree with this. There's like a list of safe bands to discuss. And then there's everything else. But I really don't care. I mean. I like what I like. floslo, if you do so, then either get THA CARTER II if you want to hear a stunning album beginning-to-end, or get DEDICATION 2 if you want to hear a stunning mixtape beginning-to-end. Although CARTER II will not feature DJ Drama's annoying yelling between tracks.

Threads about new music are few and the rec's aren't as good anymore. Then again, I haven't contributed shit so I can't really talk.

This is the sort of comments that generally try to justify the bad state of things, while ending up condoning it, for whatever reason. What ''there's no point in talking about music here'' can possibly mean on a forum dedicated to a band, not a motorcycle or a dishwasher? Of course people chat about whatever tickles their fancy on the non-sonics section, it's there for that reason, but two-thirds of this forum are meant for music-related things, and it's been a while since the activity on there (the non-sonic sounds especially) has scaled down due to the overwhelming amount of mutual masturbation that goes on here daily. Fair enough, it's an internet forum like there a million others (I post on another two regularly), albeit one of one my favourite bands.
