A loner. I'm alright with that.

pbradley 11.30.2009 11:50 AM

I'm a people-person when I'm alone and I feel totally alone amongst people.

... ?

Rob Instigator 11.30.2009 12:34 PM

I am a people-person. I like interacting with people and sharing experiences. To me there is no difference between being with one person or 30 or twenty thousand (at a concert or sports event). communal experience is my fave.
I think, because I was a loner (not by choice) for most of my youth, I seek out community more than other people may.

My g/f has had to teach me to appreciate alone time. It was an undertaking.

we live all in our heads anyways, when ti comes right down to it, and sometimes to me, it feels like if an experience is not shared then it may as well have not happened to the outside world , or to put it another way, an experience had alone can be deep and profound and exhilirating, but because it was only experience by the self, it may as well be treated like a dream, or a hallucination. it is something that will only mean anything to the self.
that's not a bad thing or a good thing, but having lived inside my own head for much of my first 18 years of life, it feels somewhat empty.

just ramblin.

I love to read and that is ussually a purely personal alone experience, unless someone is reading out loud.

Loner, but late as of year ago I have been a people-person.

gualbert 11.30.2009 05:21 PM

Social interactions were fun until I was 10 yo.
Then I had to have opinions on a lot of things I have no influence upon, like economic crisis, war in the middle east, left wing/right wing .. "choose your side and hate the other one".

Conrad 11.30.2009 05:22 PM

Both.

I love to be around my friends and meeting new people can be a lot of fun. On the other hand, I'm a huge loner when it comes to school. I refuse to make friends and I like it that way.

EVOLghost 11.30.2009 05:32 PM

I'd say Both. I can be friendly but I don't go out of my way to really talk to peoples. If someone takes some kind of interest on me I gladly return the favor

Derek 11.30.2009 06:04 PM

I don't mind interacting with people but I have a tendency to get real bored of them quickly.

the ikara cult 11.30.2009 06:27 PM

I dont think im antisocial but im always being told I am by my friends. Fuck my friends.

Genteel Death 11.30.2009 08:27 PM

I'm popular with people when I decide it's ok to be. When I'm not, I'm really not.

not always, though admittedly i fuck around on here and fbook quite a bit when i have time to kill but when i'm by myself i like to lay in the bathtub and smoke and listen to records a lot, or play instruments, or paint.

half half? I find it very difficult to find people I get on with, so generally dislike 'people' and being around them.. which makes me a loner a lot of the time. I also take a while to 'talk' when I'm around new people, I'm more of a listener... this can often be mistaken for rudeness or being shy. I'm not.. just.. a fussy listener. When I do find friends I get on with though, I like being around them.

Phoenix, that last line is the best damn quote ever. You rock!
BTW,wouldn't that be a great title for a song?

!@#$%! 12.01.2009 09:09 PM

like most people here i'm a mild introvert. sure, i love going out, seeing people, talking to strangers, roaming through a city, but nothing beats spending the whole day without getting out of bed (with kitchen and bathroom excursions, of course).
