there was a eurostar promotion about a month ago and my boyfriend's parents wanted to go, they asked if he wanted to come along and he said he'd come if i could join them... so they called me to see when i had some spare time and booked four tickets. i can afford it, but i'll have to spend as little money as possible from now on.

it'll be fun, we can do whatever we want, it's not like we have to hang around with the parents all day.

i'm always broke around christmas too so i've been crafting my gifts for years. people tend to love them.

this year i'm making a personalized poster for everyone.

I bought the rest of the xmas pressies today. My mum smokes, so I got her a Butt Bucket and a lighter which has Saint George's flag on it. I got my brother and his wife a Bodum Darjeeling Teapot, and for their 1-year-old daughter, a bath toy set featuring an Octopus with flashing lights, and another which squirts water. Mind you, the last one would suit Satan just as well.

I got my g/f the collected Sopranos DVD's with all the extras and shit.

plus I got her an engagement ring with which I proposed on Friday.

I got no money for xmas now.... ha!

yeah i know, my boyfriend's brother works on the eurostar and of course the staff was stuck too, they've been in london for four days going from airport to ferry to whatever trying to get home, while other people constantly acted furious towards them, like it was completely their fault. they serve drinks, for god's sake. in the end they got on a ferry to calais and then found someone who wanted to give them a ride to brussels.

so far, my dad gave me some money. i spent christmas at his place so we do the whole presents thing on new year's.
