Tim Buckleys a genius. I've been picking up the 180g re-issues. They sound amazing. Favourite Buckley song at the moment is the 20 minute version of "I don't need it to rain" from Copenhagen. Just 2 chords - absolute GENIUS.

I don't know much about that film as info on it just start to surface (there was actually already another "biopic" project backed by the Jeff Buckley estate, as mentioned in the link).

I'm not sure that Penn Badgley fits the bill (but I don't know him apart from random pics - on which he sometimes seems to look like a douche), I think that James Franco or Ben Whishaw (Bright star) would be more convincing.

I'm also afraid that both films suck big time (for instance by downplaying the real admiration Jeff had for his father as an artist) but what can you do about it...
