riff-raff? how do you mean? ie, no more bathroom graffiti (sp?)?
|
Generally the types who would otherwise leave the place in a mess. Common sorts, you know. Disreputable and/or undesirable people; the rabble.
|
ahhh. gotcha. the kinds who intentionally miss the garbage, or take the paper towel roll out of the feeder, and put it on the digusting floor.
|
Precisely.
|
Hip, do you know the person who (i think its and Aphex Twin collab)
did the song (remix??) "Raising The Titanic"? |
It's on the 26 Remixes for Cash LP. It's a remix of a track by Gavin Bryars. I should point out that Raising the Titanic is a remix of the piece The Sinking of the Titanic.
|
Ah, thats the guy. (Gavin Bryars). i never knew much about it. although i did read about it afteer hearing it. i listened to that (AFX remix) for about a month steady. then my computer died. wonderful, wonderful, wonderful.
|
Richard D James is indeed wonderful wonderful wonderful.
This page hasn't been updated since 2000, but if you want to hear some more of his stuff, there's a load of sound samples from his work under different pseudonyms: http://music.hyperreal.org/artists/afx/select.html |
oh, im familiar with him, my friend. i love "Nannou" from the windowlicker single. another favourite is Ventolin. of all the mixes of it, i like the (i think its called) crowmengus? one. that or salbutamol.
Cornish Acid was another one i loved. and the obvious favourite: Come to Daddy. |

Is that real or is it Photoshopped? And if it is real, where the hell is that? France? |
However, I intially disagreed with that idea about having to pay to use the bathroom, but now it doesn't seem like such a bad idea...maybe if people had to fork out some hard-earned cash to releave (sp?) themselves they'd treat the restroom with more respect?
On the other hand, it's more likely some people will be bitter about it and just piss on the floor. |

I like that art piece. Dya know who made it Terminal? |
It doesn't look like it there but there was something like this outside the Tate Modern at one point I think. It's the sort of glass that you can see out of but no one can see in.
|
whenever i think of bad toilets i always think of this:
![]() the ones in central park are pretty bad. one restaraunt i was in in greece had the worst i think i have seen. cockroaches, bad smell, bad lights, everything. truck stop ones are bad as well. not regular motorway services but the ones especially for truck drivers. gross. |

Now that you mention it... The sunlight gets through though, shadows of the toilet on the floor. |

[quote=Nefeli]jon boy in which greek restaurant have you been, if you recall name of it that is.
nah, cant know all restaurants, unless it was some wide known etc. above toilet- dont think would be able to use it. unless of course i was in extreme need.[/quote unfortunatly i cant remember its name as i was 13 when i went there. it was on crete and near a harbour which is absolutely no use at all i know. sorry. it did leave a massive impression on me however, i mean it was all those years ago and i still remember it now as i wake up screaming in the night. |

its a 2way mirror dude |
I can never understand why so many people find flushing public toilets to be too much like hard work. I hate to think of the state of their bathrooms at home.
