Totally agree on Red Medicine. This LP kicks so much aaaaaaaaassss. Super sound, killer tunes.

Fugazi were always one of those bands that I wanted to like, but could never get into. Lord knows I tried, giving several albums a chance (End Hits is my favorite, but even it I don't dig very much). I think Ian just gets on my nerves. And musically, for me, they always sounded a bit too repetitive. I know plenty of peeps that I consider to have great taste in music that swear by Fugazi, and I'm well aware of their well deserved place in the history of independent music...they just bore the shit out of me as does most "music with a message". Fuck that though, lyrics aside I still think they suck. That's just me.

What do you mean by ragga? Because you don't mean what I mean. I just listened. You really don't mean what I mean. Also, you've used a minimum of descriptive language in this thread, and the descriptive language you have used is misleading. |
I listened to Radiohead in my car this morning. it was raining and I got stuck in a traffic jam, so I put on the song "Let Down". It felt accurate.

That's because I can't describe Fugazi. Angular, geometric, patient, head-slam, fist-punch, broken machinery... iron grate and green city lights, mathematics unpredictability. It's descriptive language. You probably just have to be a Fugazi fan to understand what the fuck I'm saying. |

Precisely. I shouldn't have said ragga. I don't even really know what that means. Or, at least, not enough to use it. |
