The best thing to do is keep yourself very warm all the time. Seriously.
When you get a fever, it's your body trying to "burn off" the virus. Almost like sterilization with boiling water.
Go to bed with socks, mits and a tuque on (or a warm hat, that is). Let the "burning sensation" be a good feeling.
