I got a free pair of shoes from Puma my new place of employment. I don't really like them. Puma shoes are wack. Don't tell my manager.

I get new shoes about once a year, in the fall. I must walk heavy or something--I'm pretty tough on my shoes.

I have a pair of DM's and a pair of Converse.

I buy the same two pairs of shoes all the time and have done for the last 25 years.

I have very conservative taste in footwear.

So today I returned a pair of shoes--some black high heels--my wife bought yesterday, because she wanted the next size up. The sales clerk (a young girl) brought them out for me. "Yep, we have them," she said, and then opened the box and handed me the left shoe and looked down at my feet! No joke! I wonder what she would have done if I'd tried them on!!
