STFU back, you aren't english!

Toilet & Bowels 03.27.2007 08:32 AM

people who aren't native english speakers get special allowances when speaking english

nicfit 03.27.2007 08:35 AM

I've just thought that you might be interested in that because of your psychology studies ( if i remember well).

I did study psychology, but it was more than 20 years ago. I don't remember mentioning it here (I might have though).

I usually don't use parentheses when talking either.

the ikara cult 03.27.2007 08:59 AM

I used to tap people on the shoulder to get their attention. People dont like that.

screamingskull 03.27.2007 09:26 AM

I hate when people say "at the end of the day" a lot. You get that more and more the further north you go in england.

People tend to do that when they dont know how to conclude their arguement.

But yknow, at the end of the day each to their own.

I do.

!@#$%! 03.27.2007 10:45 AM

hmm...

screamingskull 03.27.2007 10:48 AM

i love when people say something totally out of the ordinary up to date way of speaking like "aces!" or "Groady to the max!"

atari 2600 03.27.2007 10:50 AM

So I was on the Sonic Youth discussion board
...and nearly every topic was a "recycled" one.

Sensing overwhelming deju vu, I logged-off as soon as possible.

demonrail666 03.27.2007 10:51 AM

I still find the word 'dude' incredibly irritating, regardless of the person saying its nationality.

SynthethicalY 03.27.2007 11:03 AM

I talk weird, because of lisp so most of the time people don't understand a word I am saying. And I speak in somewhat of a low voice.

It's the only bad thing about south park.

British exlamations like 'belter!', 'get in!', and 'top man!' annoy me.

SynthethicalY 03.27.2007 11:09 AM

What the hell is top man?

floatingslowly 03.27.2007 11:10 AM

So I was thinking....I love the way the english say "supernova".

SUPANOVER!

:D

Ah, I may not have mentioned it was so long ago that I studied if I was trying to make a point:o .

I did study child psychology as well, so that makes sense.
