my question is, why do people care so much about sonic youth that they post a thread on their BB about how much they think so and so in the band are jerks, a-holes, or whatever. how come there are those who listen and know enough about SY's music that they trash them "publicly" on the web?

On the Tshirt note, Thurston is the worst for Band Tshirts, in interviews he's always wearing some cool new band's Tshirt. He apparently has a Tshirt collection so big he basically kitted out all the kids in the 'Dirty Boots' video. lol
