I know whose posts I consider to be a waste of space and time, and I can ignore those people on my own without having to get a computer to help me.

I don't even want to give those people enough of my time to change my settings to ignore them.

You're only saying that because... etc, etc. Predictable doesn't quite cover the clockwork-like regularity of it. Predictable and borg-like maybe.

She'd get it. Oh yeah. But over Deanna? Not on my watch.

jon boy 04.12.2006 05:31 AM

isnt she the one from star trek?

Glice 04.12.2006 05:38 AM

Yeah, next generation. The one who read minds. Mmm.

Nothing like Star Trek to dry you up like a sponge.

Glice 04.12.2006 05:49 AM

I refuse to believe that Jean-Luc Picard does not make everyone in the world wet. I refusse. He is bald-sex supremo number 1.

truncated 04.12.2006 06:07 AM

I'd lose my rhythm if I had to deal with the glare from his pate.

my mum likes Picard, but not me, i prefer Riker, but only the bearded Riker.

by brother and i used wish for star trek x-rated, where you get to see what really happens on the holodeck, i.e. every week a different crew member boning councillor troy, or data get wanked off by luke skywalker's robotic hand.

No worries, when you ignore someone and they reply or post a thread, it will just have a small box in place of it saying that you blocked the user

Amaranth 04.12.2006 01:25 PM

so you can block a user, but know that they posted? i have only used ignore in a chat room because sometimes the messages move so fast and someone who is spamming over and over again in big letters can make me miss all of the others chatting. i didnt realize that with ignoring here you can still see that someone has posted something.

Yep, you would know that they posted, but just wouldn't know what they posted! Thanks for the points too!

There's nobody here I would ever put on an ignore list, not even if Hitler and Tom Metzger were on this board would I ever put them on an ignore list.

Ignore lists inable you to communicate, especially with people you may have differences with. How will you ever understand eachother if you refuse to give people a chance of understanding?

I don't know. That's just how I am. I just am not a hateful person. Everyone who I've had differences with that I have spoken by messaging has ended up being way cool and actually closer friends.

And it would never have happened with those people if I refused to try to understand & communicate with them the differences we had with eachother.

JUST SAY NO TO IGNORE LISTS!

I posted this in hope that people try to communicate with one another instead of ignoring one another.

This world could use more communication and undersanding and less ignoring and close-mindedness.

I've had SpectralJulianisdread on my ignore list till i thought he wasn't even worth being ignored.

I'm thinking of having more people on ignore though. After all, what is there better than re-writing history?
