Same. I had a capital C for 'capitals' until I noticed.

I've got a lot worse because the interhat makes me lazy. I'm always quite pleased when I write 'shouldn't've'. In the real world I'm a genius, but you wouldn't know it from reading the utter bollocks emitted on here. But, then again, I'm still better than you people, so ultimately I win.

IN YOUR FACE.

give good reasons to bother myself capitalizing words.

sun city girl 01.13.2007 09:06 AM

there are no good reasons for capitalizing words in in the internet. to (mis)quote the fall: "leave the capitals!"

Glice 01.13.2007 09:09 AM

Personally, I'm a big fan of capitalising. The thing is, I read things by skimming most of the time, so if a sentence is capitalised, and structured more 'properly', it makes skimming through the clauses easier. Most of the time one only needs to read the opening clause (subject) and the second clause (modifications/ adjectives) so you can save yourself the effort of reading a post in its entireity.

Paragraphs make things easier as well.

No.

PAULYBEE2656 01.14.2007 07:46 AM

capitalizing is great, without it there would be no dublin, london, washington, lisbon, lima, santiago, wellington, canberra, paris, berlin, stockholm, copenhagen, madrid, edinburgh, rekyavik, mexico city, buenos aires, seoul, beijing, tokyo, moscow, helsinki, warsaw, etc
