No Way. Stroszek is one of my favourites. The ending is just perfect. Also, it's the film Ian Curtis was watching when he killed himself.

I don't know what I'd watch yet. Let me sleep on it.

Yeah, it really is. And that's a major factor for me in just about any movie. Without a decent ending, the movie feels incomplete, and it's hard to bring myself to actually like the movie as a whole, even though the rest of it may be superb. Stroszek really nails it though.

The Breakfast Club.

Dead-Air 04.03.2007 11:10 PM

Given the implied pretext of the question, Wings of Desire without a doubt.

I was going to say The Life Aquatic, for the same reason.

If I was on my death bed and offered the chance to see one film before I popped my clogs, I would go for "Finding Nemo". I love that film, and if I'm going to die it may as well be with joy in my heart and a smile on my face.

Failing that, some decent porn.

nicfit 04.04.2007 03:57 AM

The Big Lebowski (yes, AGAIN) or Leon.
I've seen them so many times and I love them so much that watching one of those would make dying more comfortable.

jon boy 04.04.2007 04:16 AM

ghostbusters.

Norma J 04.04.2007 04:59 AM

Blow perhaps. The film's all about destiny.

king_buzzo 04.04.2007 05:00 AM

The good, the bad and the mother-fucking ugly!

Lost in translation maybe

ondskan 04.04.2007 08:33 AM

High Fidelity!!!

Or The Big Lebowski.

SpectralJulianIsNotDead 04.04.2007 09:00 AM

Something that reminds me of my childhood. Probably one of these:

Stars Wars IV, V, or VI (original theatrical version)

OR

The Explorers

OR

Stand By Me

OR

Clash of the Titans

Onani Nic 04.04.2007 09:18 AM

The Class of Nuke'em High

without a doubt!

mangajunky 04.04.2007 09:45 AM

Ikiru is a fantastic choice - kudos for it!
I'll still stick with Amelie.

HairwayToSteven 04.04.2007 09:59 AM

I would have to say The Big Lebowski as well. I love that damn movie.

MellySingsDoom 04.04.2007 02:07 PM

Herschell Gordon Lewis "Two Thousand Maniacs". The barrel-roll scene is pure genius.

sarramkrop 04.04.2007 02:20 PM

Harold And Maude or Hairspray.

Bastian 04.04.2007 05:36 PM

2001: A Space Odyssey

krastian 04.05.2007 12:50 AM

Apocalypse Now would be fitting.
