I just love the album. New Brain Trajectory is some beautiful sound collage piece. Lee's "talking blues" throughout the whole album is amazing.

I don't know but it doesn't seem likely

There was a brief facebook stories message from Lee which just said 'CANCELED' !!!

Vinyl (black :() finally arrived, on my first listen now...has met and exceeded my high expectations. I'm very glad Lee joined forces with Raul, they're experts at melding deeply textured sonics with interesting melodies, creating some really beautiful songs.

Hi Everyone - Due to the ongoing global pandemic crisis we must regrettably cancel our European tour in support of our just-released album Names of North End Women. We worked hard putting together an innovative, experimental live show to represent the album - we’ll rescheduled dates as soon as we can. Meantime, you can visit namesofnorthendwomen.com for our videos, some filmed interview clips and other ephemera. We’ll also be posting some new video/performance clips over the coming weeks. Thanks to our label Mute, for their support. Hope you can check out the music we’ve made this last year. Stay safe and we’ll see you down the road!

Lee & Raül

hello, Lee and Raül are on the latest* episode of my Kreative Kontrol podcast and you may feel that it's worth a listen. Some brief chatter about the 30th anniversary of Goo this year too. Should be on all the podcast players but here's the primary post if you wanna listen.

thanks,
vk

*might not be the latest episode for very long...

it did! not sure what's in the archives but it sounds like they are/were working on something.

Lee has shared a two minute excerpt of the live debut of Light Years Out on YT. Why only 2 minutes Lee? That's torture!

Additionally, here's what Lee has to say about Bob Dylan
Also, here's a nice acoustic version of Shouts. Anyone know who are the two on the right, on violin and percussion?

All three vids were uploaded in the last few days

That was totally fucking awesome. He has said it before (most of it, anyway - I think this is the first time he's linked Dylan to Daydream Nation), but who cares; hearing and watching him saying it in a new clip was totally fucking AWESOME.

Incidentally, Robyn Hitchcock shares Lee's obsession with "Visions Of Johanna": "That song is my matrix" -RH

brilliant. thanks.

(just came here to post it).

Okay I thought so when I heard the album, but now I'm sure that's a sample from "How Much Needs Crushing?" during "Light Years Out".

Sure miss that beat drop though...

Got the opportunity to buy the limited edition vinyl in a new vintage store just around the corner last week or so. Since that moment, I've been listening over and over again.
Damn, this is so really good and addictive once you're into this stuff.
Why not tour with this after all?
